How Vivien Roussel describes himself: "To put it simply, my mother is an artisan – she makes custom wedding dresses. In my family, my aunt has textile manufacturing plants in Turkey. I’ve always had a passion for craftsmanship and technique. When I became infatuated with biomaterials, I began to imagine a future where the artisan would also be a biologist. So I explore this possibility and try to develop new skills."
